Reward- What will your’s Be?

I’ve never thought that it was the best idea to reward myself for eating healthy or doing exercise.. after all on the surface it’s purely a reward for Living! (As grim as I sounded just then, do not fear, for there is a revelation- wrong word- experiment to come next!) 

However, if I really think about it, rewards from life come on a daily basis; anything from a little peck on the cheek, to a hysterical laughter or a monthly pay check! Rewards are everywhere, and we take it for granted to enjoy them! 

So there are 2 significant changes that I will include in my lifestyle for the next month (well one of them is more of an on-going  attitude change, that should definitely go on for more than a month!) Here they are:

  1. I have booked a 2 Michelin Star restaurant for A and I on the 29th of June (almost 1 month away), that means I am going to have to save up EXTREMELY, and not spend on ANY unnecessary thing (which unfortunately I have a real tendency to!) This will also serve as a deadline for the first month of weightloss and I can treat myself to the 5+ course meal that we’ve booked for (not to mention the wine!). My goals by then aren’t the Numbers and fat loss, but overall changes such as, quality over quantity, no mindless eating and no overindulgence! AND I would like to average exercising 4times a week. 
  2. Enjoying every little Reward that Life gives me and NOT taking it for granted! (It is unfortunate that I have to write this, but hey better now then never!)

Hypocritical intake.

I am at a dilemma. Well it is easily fixed to be honest and it is DEFINITELY something I have learnt from! I bought these weight watcher ready meals because I am studying 24/7 and didn’t really have time to look around the shop to create a cheap and healthy food plan for the tiny amount of money I had. the house was empty so I thought instead of buying a load of junk, I would buy these meals and learn to portion control. It hasn’t backfired in terms of portion control but it has Definitely not worked in terms of nutrition. I feel like I a lacking in too many things on a daily basis, and as I am restricting calories a little it is essential to get all the vitamins in my diet… Quite angry at myself, especially because I’m learning pathology and made THIS post about why to eat healthy… Hypocrite much??? anyway here is my intake so far:

Breakfast: WeightWatchers Sweet and sour chicken and rice with a coffee

Lunch: WeightWatchers mixed casserole chicken thingy I can’t remember the name… Chocolate :D and wholegrain toast with cream cheese 

Snack: Apple- ok I couldn’t resist another 2 little squares of chocolate…

Exercise: 40 minute run.
